The Blue Water Tower

This is the Amherst water tower. It is on the corner of the I-90 and the I-290. While I was growing up I learned to call it the Blue Water Tower. Lots of people I knew would use it as a point of reference for traveling. Mostly as a 'If you see this then you've gone to far' type of reference.

In 2012-2013 it was repainted to it's current shade of blue after having faded over the years.
